This splendid five-star hotel is amongst the Top Luxury Hotels in the World. Set in a historic landmark building, with 262 rooms and 44 suites that are among the most spacious of boutique hotels in London. Informed by the grand traditions of a British manor home, the five-star hotel?s stylish interiors ? all dreamed up by Tony Chi ? are crafted from the finest materials and appointed to the highest standard.
lobby
The lobby is large and modern in style, decorated in warm reds and golds. Much use has been made of mahogany whilst the original marble pillars remain. The lighting is fine crystal chandeliers. The grand staircase is in solid marble and soars up seven floors.
exterior
The building was the original Pearl Assurance level and is very grand. It was built at the turn of the last century and is a listed building protected by the English Heritage. The entrance is very grand and leads through the carriageway into a classical courtyard.
restaurant
The hotel feature two restaurants: Holborn Dining Room is a smart, bustling brasserie at the heart of the city with a classic menu of simple yet sophisticated British dishes. And the Mirror Room is the social hub of the hotel, offering dining options for the most discerning palates.
