generalThis is a luxury style hotel, ideally placed to enjoy the many wondrous sights of London. The hotel also has a small gymnasium which is fully equipped. (0109VM)
lobbyGuests will be met with a warm and very personal welcome. The lobby is small and very cosy. It is very traditional in design with a large log fire and sofas for guests to relax on and read the daily newspapers. Wood panelling, ornate cut glass screens and elegant furnishings create the impression of being in a country house, rather than being in the heart of London.
exteriorBrown's Hotel is composed of 11 Georgian town house and is the most historic hotels as it was the first ever hotel to open in London in 1837.
restaurantThe restaurant is called "The Albemarle" (formerly the Grill) is situated on the ground floor with its beautiful wood panelling, vaulted ceiling and elegant green banquettes designed by the leading French designer Philippe Hurel. The Albemarle offers the finest quality British cooking. Executive Chef Lee Streeton and Director of Food Mark Hix have created an outstanding menu featuring great British classics alongside many lighter fish and shellfish dishes - all using carefully sourced seasonal ingredients.
