It is a traditional, Manor House type hotel and the main tower dates back to the 16th century.
restaurant
There is an excellent restaurant. with 2 AA Rosettes. The oak panelling, family paintings and antiques all add to the traditional aura. Informal dining is also available in the recently opened Steak House Restaurant.

The bedrooms are all individual and traditional in design. Many of them feature traditional four-poster beds. All rooms have full facilities.
