roomsAll rooms and suites are large in size and in good condition. The Deluxe Kowloon View is located in the Tower and offers panoramic views of the city of Kowloon, the Lion Rock Peak, and surrounding mountain range. All rooms include general room amenities, good selection of audiovisual amenities as well as bathroom amenities. The bathroom is large in size,marble-finished bathroom with two basins and has a separate shower and bath with TV and radio system inside bathroom.
locationThis hotel is located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui on Nathan Road overlooking the harbour. The Mass Transit Railway underground (MTR) is just a few steps away, while the Star Ferry and the China Ferry Terminal are on convenient walking distance. Opposite the hotel are the cultural attractions like the Cultural Center and the Hong Kong Space Museum. The hotel is 36 kilometers from the airport or 45 minutes drive by car. It takes 10 minutes or 2 stops by MTR to go to Central. Popular outdoor markets such as Temple Street Night Market, Jade Market and Bird Market are easy accessible from this hotel.
generalThis hotel is a landmark in Hong Kong and considered the oldest hotel, the original building being building 1928. While keeping the historic charm, the hotel offers very modern facilities and this is the only hotel in Hong Kong with a helipad. lobbyThe lobby is large in size with impressive white marble flooring and walls, which makes the hotel have a colonial feel. The lively lobby lounge is integrated with the lobby and there are also some other exclusive shops available.
exteriorThis is a historic building in colonial style with a large water fountain at the drive way. The modern Peninsula Tower has been build in 1994, standing just behind the Original Building, linked internally.
restaurantThe hotel has 6 restaurants, 2 bars and a pool terrace. All restaurants are elegantly and stylish decorated. There a is fine-dining, a Swiss, a Cantonese, a Japanese, a trendy contemporary restaurant on the top floor which has view on the Hong Kong skyline. The all day casual dining is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant has a tropical setting with the arched, sea-facing windows and whirring wooden ceiling fans. The lobby lounge is popular for the traditional afternoon tea and had a open plan, while the bar offers privacy.
