This is a fantastic quality hotel, in a wonderful rural setting. The beach is just a stone's throw away and the sights of Olympia and the Western Peloponese-Ionian coast are within easy reach. Recommended for a relaxing holiday off the beaten track, in a luxurious environment with a variety of high level services on offer.(06/07 EP)
lobby
The lobby is large and dressed in marble. There is a lounge area and corridors lead to the restaurant, the rooms or the pool area and the rest of the hotel.
exterior
The hotel is a modern building with a blend of traditional and classical architectural styles. There is abundance of marble pillars and floors, but also stone arches, wooden beams and terra cotta roofs. The complex consists of the main building and another 5 complexes of villas and bungalows. The main pool is very big, with a breezy pool bar in the middle, connected to the deck by a footbridge. Palm trees and gardens complete the luxurious image of this unique hotel. There is also a children's' playground, a well equipped gym and a professional massage service available on request.
restaurant
The restaurant is in the main building and offers a varied a'la carte menu of Mediterranean and International recipes. The large glass pane windows offer a wonderful view of the hotel pool and further of the rolling countryside that surrounds the hotel.
rooms
The Deluxe Bungalow Sharing Pool rooms are huge compared to normal standards, with plenty of space and high quality furnishings and fittings. They come with all modern amenities such as air conditioning, satellite tv, internet, an electric cooker and mini bar upon request. They have an ample veranda and access to a private shared pool together with the adjacent bungalow when occupied.
location
Olympian Golden beach is in Killini, in a wonderful natural setting among the fields with the hills leading up to popular Kastro in the backdrop. The beach is a brisk 5 minute rural walk from the hotel. Ancient Olympia is a half an hour drive down the highway about 50km away. The port of Killini, where ferries to the Ionian islands of Zakynthos and Kefalonia depart, is within a 10 minute drive.
