generalThis is a truly unique hotel, the sheer luxury and opulence of everything about it is magnificent. It's proximity to Olympia makes it an excellent choice for discerning visitors of the ancient site (03/09 EP)
lobbyThe complex is accessed via a private road, shaded by elm trees, opening up to the main complex and leading to the various areas of the resort. The state-of-the-art conference and exhibition center can accommodate up to 1700 attendants. The Thalasso spa is a top class treatment and wellness facility, utilizing a variety of techniques to invigorate body and mind.
exteriorThe Olympia Riviera complex is set within 500 acres of luxurious gardens, with lush flower beds and imported Egyptian palm trees. There are 5 different environments, each built on a series of plateaus and comprising a number of low buildings with classical features and tiled roofs. The areas are connected by pathways accessed through beautiful porticos, and the decor includes mosaic baths and marble staircases that give to the guest a feeling of the mythical fields of Elysium. The 1 km long beach front is one of the best in the area.
restaurantThe main restaurant, complemented by the a'la carte restaurant and the pool side brasserie offer a variety of culinary options in an astonishing environment, such as the cascading water features of the main restaurant. The menu and wine list are excellent. Theme nights are organized on a weekly basis such as barbecue or lobster nights.
roomsThe deluxe bungalow suites are two floor maisonettes, 2nd row from the beach. This room type includes access to both floors, with the verandah on the top floor and a sizeable living area on the ground floor. Beautifully and luxuriously appointed, around 80 sqm in size and decorated in blue marin colours, reminiscent of the sea and sky across the resort. They are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, marble bathroom and dressing area, king size beds, satellite tv, mini hi-fi, mini bar and garden lounge beds and umbrellas.
locationThe Grecotel Olympia Riviera resort is in the Kastro area of Killini, one of the most beautiful and characteristic seaside locations of the western Peloponese. It's about 66km from Olympia and 10km from Killini port, the gateway to the Ionian islands.
