Independent Report
pleasenoteRenovations start from 1st May and are due to finish by September 2012. Further to the ongoing refurbishment plan at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, we are pleased to announce that our current Premium Leisure Club will also be part of this enhancement. Having listened to our guests? feedback, the new Premium Leisure Club will be expanded allowing more exciting features for the whole family. During the enhancement period (from the first week of May onwards) our Premium Leisure Club will temporarily move to Al Khayal restaurant on the first floor all services and operating times will remain the same. Jumeirah Beach Hotel will also be refreshing its culinary offers this year by developing a number of its original restaurants. In addition to the widely anticipated refurbishment of 360 Bar, which will see the Marina Restaurant taken over to become a two storey indoor and outdoor bar lounge and club, the hotel's original English style pub, Dhow and Anchor and its German restaurant Der Kheller will be closed and replaced with an exciting new two-storey dining concept that will occupy the space of both outlets. The hotel's novelty Tex Mex restaurant, Go West, will be replaced by a restaurant that forms part of a world-famous chain while Al Khayal, the classic Lebanese restaurant Al Khayal will also close with further plans to be announced.
generalThis hotel is ideal for all but caters very well to families. It has one of the best beaches in Dubai and offers a vast array of on-site activities which includes complimentary access to Wild Wadi Water Park, which is next to the hotel, for all in-house guests. Add to this great service and the overall standard of the hotel, this is an excellent choice.
lobbyThe medium sized lobby, although impressive, is smaller than one would expect for this size of hotel. The large reception is to the right, with a small concierge just inside the main door. Above the lobby is an atrium reaching to the top of the hotel with a multi-coloured map of the world on the wall.
exteriorAt over 300 metres in length and 100 metres in height, the hotel rises dramatically from golden sands and lush, landscaped gardens. Soft undulating curves reflect the wave concept and provide a breathtaking sight from every perspective. The hotel was inspired by the Arabian seafaring tradition, its external shape echoing the form of a huge breaking wave. Not only a new world landmark, it sets new standards in hotel design, facilities, and style.
restaurantThe hotel offers a choice of 18 restaurants, cafes and bars to cater to the needs and tastes of all passengers.
roomsAll the large rooms enjoy spectacular views of the sea. Each room has been luxuriously appointed and beautifully furnished. The colour schemes vary but all have been decorated with impeccable taste. The tiled blue and white bathrooms with black marble sink unit are kept in excellent condition.
locationThe hotel is located, as the name suggests, on Jumeirah Beach approximately 25 kilometres from downtown Dubai. It is in an excellent location to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of Dubai. It is a short drive away from the Mall Of The Emirates, Media City and Internet City. It is also within 15 minutes drive of 2 Championship Golf Courses and the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
