This hotel enjoys a very good location in the heart of Sultanahmet within reach of all major tourist sights. The modern side of the city, Marmara Sea and bustling Taksim Square can be reached by a short taxi ride. (02/08 JMG)

The lobby is medium-sized and welcoming, decorated in traditional Turkish style.
exterior
This is a very traditional building dating back to the 16th century, renovated for the modern traveller. The original house was built for the famous Ottoman Grand Vezir who lived between 1512 and 1560.
restaurant
The hotel restaurant serves a variety of traditional Ottoman cuisine. There is also a picturesque garden for use during summer.
rooms
The medium-sized rooms are well furnished in classical style with the usual amenities, including minibar and cable television. All are well appointed with traditional furniture in various colour schemes. All rooms are en suite.
location
The hotel is located in Sultanahmet, close to the historic centre and within walking distance of Santa Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cisterns and Grand Bazaar.
