generalA charming hotel with whose superior rooms are really excellent. Highly recommended! 0108SO
lobbyThe reception area is very spacious and traditional in style, with numerous lounge and reading areas, including a pretty enclosed verandah and an imposing staircase leading to the first floor.
exteriorThe main building has a traditional old style facade, with the modern section of the hotel hidden around the side and at the back.
restaurantThere are two restaurants; the one used for breakfast is large, with high ceilings and is imposing and there is also an elegant 'a la carte' restaurant with a bar.
roomsThe building has elegant, spacious rooms, some with access to a huge terrace and all are beautifully decorated in white and pastels, with large bright bathrooms. The superior rooms are larger in size and have been renovated, these consist of modern rooms in the new wing of the hotel and traditional rooms in the main building. Both rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
locationThis hotel is fairly central, only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. The rear of the hotel overlooks the river and the front faces the famous Jungfrau peak.
