The hotel is located in the heart of the Kiev overlooking Independance Square, scene of the famous Orange revolution and regarded as the centre of Kiev.

The hotel was built in Soviet times has a reception on each floor manned by a staff member who will also attend to you if your require anything although the choice may be limited. Many of the rooms offer outstanding views across the square and over the city and are practicle if unimaginative in their interior design.
restaurant
The hotel has a large restaurant overlooking the square and there a large selection of restaurants near by.
exterior
The building is quite plain and mid rise but situated on a hill it dominates the local skyline.
lobby
The medium sized lobby is quite dark and old fashioned and on first glance gives the wrong impression about the rest of the hotel.
general
The highlight of staying at this hotel is the location which is the best in Kiev, this room category is one of more modern and recently renovated ones and suitable for those guests who on a budget but seeking a central location. SC04/08
