Natsionalny Hotel is situated in Pechersk, a historical district, located to the south-east of the city, on the bank of the River Dnepr. In the 18th and 19th centuries this part of the city was extensively built up with the mansions of the aristocracy and nobility, and Pechersk remains one of the most prestigious districts of the city.

The restaurant is located on the lower floor of the hotel. It has very high ceilings and is quite functional. Although the overall ambience might not be the most sophisticated, the restaurant is well decorated and serves its purpose.
