Rooms are on average large in size with some located in the main building and others in the neighbouring buildings. All are individually and charmingly decorated in traditional style and are in very good condition. Some rooms in the main building offer lake view whereas others have equally beautiful views of the grounds. In any case all rooms were newly renovated in 2006 and are fantastic quality.
restaurant
The hotel bar and restaurant areas are also very traditional with original artifacts.
exterior
This is a beautiful historical hotel set in its own grounds and as its name suggests the main building reassembles an old castle.
lobby
The lobby area of the hotel is small and traditionally decorated as befitting an historical building.
general
The hotel offers numerous leisure activities to its guests including tennis/golf and sailing and for those guests preferring something a little less energetic, the hotel even has its own beauty farm. This is a very luxurious hotel that comes very highly recommended. PL 0509

The hotel is situated directly on lake fuschl and approximately a 20 minute drive from the nearby historical town of salzburg.
