generalThe hotel offers a glimpse at Hawaii's royal past in the heart of Waikiki. The hotel was named after Hawaii's beloved Princess Victoria Kaiulani and it is located near the site of her garden estate, Ainahau, where she spent her childhood. 80% of the guestrooms are non-smoking. restaurantThere are two restaurants, a poolside food court and a lounge at the hotel. One of the restaurants serves authentic Japanese dishes for lunch and dinner. Another serves breakfast and dinner buffets with an emphasis on seafood in the evenings, in a casual, open-air atmosphere, with the pool just steps away. The fast-food center at poolside includes choices of huge made-to-order sandwiches, salads, succulent roast pork and rotisserie chicken, pizza, hot dogs, pasta, and ice cream. The lounge is a place to enjoy the low-key Hawaiian musical entertainment provided every evening poolside.
