general
This is very unique accommodation featuring Japanese age-old furnitures and decoration of the Edo era. It exists not only as an accommodation but it is like an antique museum where you can see many Japanese folk arts everywhere. The hot springs at Yakushi Onsen Hatago were first discovered by pilgrims during the Edo era. The water comes from a deep vein that has naturally formed in the crust of the earth. It consistently provides heat through geothermal activity. It is really interesting and unique place to stay during your holiday. (0908 YT)
