generalThis is one of the best golf and spa resorts in South Africa and is beautifully located in the countryside. The spa offers a variety of treatments, a flotation pool as well as a pool that is both indoor and outdoor with a waterfall. The spa has a jacuzzi, steam room and saunas and is a great way to relax after a game of golf or day spent exploring the countryside. The hotel also has excellent conference facilities. (AHJ 07.10)
lobbyA large bright lobby with a discrete reception desk to the left as you enter. There is a small shop, concierge desk and seating for guests.
exteriorA modern building just two storeys tall and spread out over several acres of the estate.
restaurantThere is a first class restaurant serving food all day with an open plan kitchen where guests can see the chefs busy at work. There is also a good wine cellar and an extensive wine menu.
roomsThese are excellent 5* rooms with a modern stylish feel to them and a nice South African art theme. Each room has air con, safe, pay and satellite TV, writing desk and chair and internet connection. The large en-suite bathrooms have sliding doors making the room fell open plan. There is 24 hour room service and a free newspaper delivered daily.
locationSituated just 15 minutes drive west of Hermanus and in the lush countryside next to the hotel's golf course and stunning lake. The hotel is just a 90 minute drive from Cape Town.
