This is a traditional, lowrise building with white walls and a red roof. There is a long sweeping drive and attractive gardens surrounding the hotel.

The club restaurant has an intimate atmosphere and has particularly attractive table settings. The ostlers room is informal and offers a wide variety of traditional dishes. It is a beautiful 16th century oak beamed room.

All 117 rooms are en suite and have remote control tv, radio, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and hospitality tray. Deluxe rooms have whirlpool Spa Baths. The rooms are medium in size and in good condition with pine furnishings and blue fabrics.
