This hotel is a good choice for the individual traveller due to the traditional ambiance of the hotel and its perfect central location.
lobby
The small lobby is decorated in marble and dark wood and is very traditional in style.
exterior
The hotel is, by Helsinki standards, a historic building and is hailed as the city's oldest hotel. A traditional style grey building which is extremely attractive.
restaurant
In teh restaurant the traditional style of the hotel is most noticeable. It is furnished with dark wood featuring high ceilings with large chandeliers and little balconies overlooking the room. A pleasant dining experience in intimate surroundings.
rooms
The rooms are all a different size and shape due to the traditional style of the hotel. They are all in very good condition, furnished to the same standard combining traditional style with modern facilities. The modern bathrooms are also in very good condition.
location
The hotel enjoys an excellent location, situated on the square opposite the central railway station, surrounded by shops and restaurants in the heart of Helsinki. A great base from which to discover the city.
