(built in 1886) connects Heiligendamm with Kuhlungsborn and Bad Doberan and from there you can reach the hanseatic town of Rostock.

It was formerly the residence of the Duke of Mecklenburg Schwerin. All buildings have a white facade which gave the hotel its famous name "White Town by the Sea".
