The Pousada has meeting room facilities and monumental and scenic surroundings. The Pousada of Santa Marinha da Costa is described as being the jewel in the already glittering crown of Portuguese Pousadas. It is the biggest and by far the most impressive of all the Pousadas. 08/08 mp

Dark wood ceilings in contrast with the light floors covered with soft carpets. Comfortable armchairs and traditional chairs. Very spacious room.

Penha park, the small gardens and the interior corners with granite fountains, the rich Portuguese glazed tiles, the cloisters, the balconies and terraces over the city make a perfect place to stay.

Near the historical centre of Guimares, set on a hill overlooking the city, we find the majestic Santa Marinha Pousada, the 17th century convent of Agustinhos, which after being rebuilt and restored received the national architectural prize in 1985. There are discreet cloisters in this Pousada and a marvelous fountain.
