generalThe hotel of self-catering apartments 'Klio' is situated in the area of Kato Gouves. The location where the hotel was build used to be in the past a farm with plenty lemon trees. In 1987 the hotel started as a small family business and was named after the mother of the family who owns it Mrs. Klio. Nowadays it can accommodate for 150 guests in a clean relaxed environment. At the hotel 'Klio' we are making every possible attempt to offer services and a product up to the expectations of the most demanding customer. At the same time we encourage a relaxed atmosphere and a feeling of friendly mood. As a principle of the hotel we promote this friendly mood and we insist into keeping the family business atmosphere still alive. Therefore if your dream holidays are set in a stress-free and sociable setting the right choice is the 'Klio' Apartments.
roomsThe complex consists of 46 rooms. There are two room types. An apartment suitable to accommodate for 2 - 4 persons; consisting of one bedroom, a sitting room, a toilet with shower, the kitchen area and a balcony or terrace. A studio suitable to accommodate for 1 - 2 persons; consisting of a toilet with shower, the bedroom with the kitchen area nicely laid out in an open space arrangement and a balcony or terrace. The standard facilities of all rooms are: in-room safety deposit box, air-conditioning, TV, telephone, fully-equipped kitchenette (cooking rings, fridge, kettler, utensils and toaster on request). Two rooms, one of each kind are also being purposely modified for guests using a wheel-chair. The hotel and all of its departments are fully accessible with ramps.
locationGouves is a very nicely spread out resort with a total of 3kms of well organised beaches, sea-sports, scuba diving and isolated bays for you to choose. The resort is situated 17 kms east of Heraklion in the middle of Crete, ideal to become your starting point to explore the island. Yet again, Gouves is a very quiet and relaxing resort nicely developed in a vast area, with all the necessary amenities on your feet (shops, restaurants, bars, chemists, bank, ATMs, medical centre, dentist, beauty saloon, hairdressers, bus stops, taxis). Klio Apartments is located 150m from the seafront and 10 minutes walk to the high street of the resort. You can enjoy tranquillity whilst at the hotel, whilst you are only a few steps away from the busy part of the resort
