The reception area is modern in design and decor, and is of medium size.

It is a high-rise blue and clear modern glass structure.

Found on the ground floor, the restaurant is quite informal, modern and comfortable, and serving international cuisine.
rooms
All rooms are large and in very good condition. They are well-appointed and very comfortable. The design and style of the rooms is typically scandinavian with much use of earthy colours and wooden furnishings. Many enjoy impressive panoramic views. Bathrooms are also in very good condition.
location
Scandic Opalen is located in the eastern part of Gothenburg city centre. It is within walking distance of the convention centre, the Congress Hall, the Scandinavium concert hall and the Liseberg amusement park.
