Perched atop a small hill in the town of Galle in the southwest of Sri Lanka overlooking the Indian Ocean. The property is approximately 150 kilometres from the capital city of Colombo or can also be reached by taking a 20 minute flight to the nearby city of Koggala, just 20 minutes from the hotel (please note flights are not always in operation).

Deluxe rooms are decorated in a colonial style, with neutral decor and accents such as colourful wooden shutters. Each room is very large in size and equipped with air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, television, mini bar and private balcony with sea views.
restaurant
Guests may choose to dine at the main 24 hour restaurant, serving salads, pasta, sandwiches and mix of Asian dishes or at the poolside restaurant serving light fare. As well, a gourmet restaurant is available for dinner, in addition to speciality dinners, such as spa dining, that can be arranged by the hotel.

The resort is comprised of low rise adjoining buildings in yellow with red tiled roofing set amongst lush gardens and two outdoor pools.
