This is arguably the best hotel in Geilo with a great reputation to uphold. The property embodies rustic elegance.
lobby
The hotel lobby is of a medium size and is elegant and welcoming.
exterior
The hotel is renowned for it's grandeur, it dates from 1909 and is somewhat of a landmark hotel. It is a large property built of wood in the style of a traditional Swiss mountain hotel.
restaurant
The restaurant is, like the rest of the hotel, elegant and stylish whilst retaining considerable rustic charm.
rooms
The rooms differ in size, shape & furnishings and although they are all traditionally furnished and decorated they vary considerably in style. They are all in exceptional condition, however and are very charming.
location
The Dr Holms hotel enjoys a central location in the ski resort village of Geilo. It is close to the train station and local small shops.
