An excellent hotel to stay in to visit the glaciers and rainforest. An ideal place to break up the journey on the West Coast of the south island. Book early though as high season is always very busy. SE0908

Encompassing 2 distinctive properties just 1km apart buildings are in keeping with the native bush surroundings and alpine scenery.

The main restaurant is called Caravans, there is other bar and restaurant area serving the three hotel wings.

There are three main wings of the hotel, most of the hotel rooms have now been fully renovated. Just north of the village the Mueller Wing is sited on five hectares of landscaped grounds sloping down to the river. Rooms feature Sky TV, radio, heater, fridge, mini bar, tea & coffee facilities, telephone, internet dial-up access and hairdryer.

Situated on the edge of the westland world heritage park in the Township of Franz Josef.
