This is an excellent first class property in an ideal location. It is perfect for all types of travellers. DO 04.2008

The lobby area and reception desk are medium in size. The reception area is tastefully decorated with flowers, ornate lampshades and original tapestries depicting Florentine scenes from the renaissance period. The area is softly lit offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
exterior
The hotel is a traditional Italian palazzo, which was built in the mid sixteenth century. The hotel is entered via a dark stained glass automatic door. Beyond the entrance lies the reception desk, which is immediately to the left.
rooms
The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. All rooms contain terracotta flooring covered with Persian rugs. The furniture is ornate and all the rooms have fresh flowers. Rooms are large with high ceilings.
location
The hotel is on via Nazionale, which is a two-minute walk from the main railway station 'Santa Maria Novella'. This street contains many hotels and is ideal for shopping due to its close proximity to San Lorenzo street market, which is a two-minute walk away.
