The restaurant of Hotel Emporda is called "El Motel" and was founded in 1961 by Josep Mercader, a legendary figure of the Catalan gastronomy. It was classified and renamed as a point of reference in Catalunya by popular guides such as Michelin, Campsa and Gourmetour. It offers typical catalan cuisine, characterized by the products of the market place that vary according to the season. The restaurant is decorated in light colors and offers magnificent views to the region.
