This hotel is ideal for groups and individual travellers who want to experience the true peace and tranquility of the Swiss mountains with the practical benefit of being close by the established tourist centre of Engelberg. SR0609

The lobby itself is small, but there is plenty of space off the main check-in area.

This is a traditional, chalet style building.
restaurant
The restaurant is decorated in typical Swiss rustic style with heavy wooden furniture and checked tablecloths. There is also the added bonus of a huge window along one side of the room giving diners panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
rooms
The rooms are small and rustic in style. Wood panelling gives them a lovely cosy feel and all benefit from beautiful views over the valley. Although a little dated in style, the rooms are nonetheless in good condition as are the bathrooms.
location
This hotel is located in a secluded spot on the hillside on the opposite side of the valley from the village. Engelberg is a leisurely 15min walk through the fields as is the cable car station for trips up mount Titlis.
