This property not only boasts a prime central location, but following its recent renovations boasts a high standard of accommodation. It is still undergoing minor renovation work, but this should not cause any inconvenience to guests. Please note: Single-sex parties of five people or more, or booking contributing to a single-sex party, are forbidden. Also please be aware that this property is completely non-smoking throughout. The lobby area is located on the first floor and is small in size. The whole area has recently been refurbished, giving a fresh modern feel.
exterior
It is a traditional late Victorian building.
restaurant
The restaurant features excellent Scottish dishes. The cocktail bar, along with the restaurant, offers spectacular views across Princes Street gardens to Edinburgh Castle.
rooms
All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated to a very good 3-star standard. Again, the colours used are soft pastel shades. Rooms have been recently renovated and are in very good condition.
location
This hotel is situated in the centre of the city, opposite Waverley Station on Princes Street. Possibly the perfect central Edinburgh location. The airport is a 20-minute drive.
