It is a traditional, Manor House type hotel and the main tower dates back to the 16th century.
restaurant
There is an excellent restaurant. with 2 AA Rosettes. The oak paneling, family paintings and antiques all add to the traditional aura. Informal dining is also available in the recently opened Steak House Restaurant.
