This budget HOSTEL is located in between Edinburgh's international airport and the city centre in a quiet residential district, with stunning views across the sea. The city centre is approximately a 10-15 minute drive.
rooms
The rooms with no facilities are a dormitory style and can accommodate up to 4 people (in bunk beds). Therefore the cost for 1 or 2 pax is more expensive if they want to book the room for exclusive use (i.e. twin/ double/ single). Washing facilities are shared in the communal bathroom area.
restaurant
The canteen style dining area allows guests to purchase and prepare their own meals. There is a kitchen for cooking and kitchenware is provided. The dining area offers communal seating in canteen style surroundings.
exterior
A low rise free standing modern building with no outstanding features.
lobby
The lobby is small in size with the reception area to the left of the entrance. There is a larger area to the rear of the lobby which contains a travel desk.
general
This is a unique property catering solely for the young budget traveler. Also on offer is an internet cafe, bicycle hire, a gymnasium, a cinema room, a television room and a lively bar. This property is especially popular with the under 30's and it can be rather noisy at weekends with its popular 24 hour bar! (BL 04/2007)
