exteriorThis hotel is a renovated Victorian hotel dating back to 1819. It was the first large purpose built hotel in Edinburgh and the exterior has remained largely unchanged, it is an imposing and grand 4 storey building. There are huge floor to ceiling windows on all floors at the front of the building.
restaurantThe hotel restaurant combines the traditional listed features of the building with a contemporary element. The menu changes regularly but the cuisine overall is a blend of Scottish traditional foods and modern dishes from the continent.
roomsAs you would expect in a brand new luxury property the bedrooms are in immaculate condition. They are medium to large in size and are decorated in a very contemporary style and color schemes ranging from muted browns to zebra stripes!
