generalAn excellent hotel with good facilities including a squash court, indoor swimming pool, sauna, hair salon, business centre with Wifi available and a retro restaurant and bar offering panoramic views of the spectacular Indian Ocean. AHJ 07/10
lobbyThe lobby has a 3 storey atrium with the restaurant one level up to your right as you enter the hotel and a small reception desk to your left. There are large windows at the entrance making the whole lobby feel bright and spacious.
exteriorA landmark building on Durban's ocean front, the Blue Waters is over ten storeys tall.
restaurantRetro in style the large restaurant is circle shaped at the corner of the hotel offering guests stunning views of the ocean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here and food can be ordered from the room.
roomsAll of the rooms are very modern and slick in design with comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom. There is satellite TV with 20 channels, Wifi, electronic safes, telephone, air con, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities. These are good rooms for both leisure and corporate clients and have lounge chairs in them as well as a writing desk and table. Every room has a balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean. These are arguably the best 3* rooms in Durban.
locationLOCATION
Located on Durban's Golden Mile beach front and close to the city's best attractions including Kings Park stadium, the World Cup Moses Mabhida Stadium, Ushaka World and the Durban's International Conference Centre. Guests can walk out of the hotel and the beach is just a 1 minute walk away or they can reach the Suncoast Casino which is only 250m away.
