The Mespil is located in a great part of Dublin (D4) where it is somewhat calmer and more relaxed - yet still city centre. The hotel has a feeling of airy spaciousness and is ideal for all types of travellers, especially those looking for a modern product at the very top end of the 3 star market. This is competitively priced and is highly recommended within this category of hotel. (GW 08/2011)

The hotel has a large lobby, with wooden floors, and is decorated in dark fabrics and furnishings. It stretches the whole length of the building is modern and airy. There is a large reception desk.
exterior
This is a modern hotel with glass frontage and small surrounding gardens.
restaurant
There are two excellent dining options. The Glaze Bistro offers tranquil views of the Grand Canal and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Terrace Bar is the perfect retreat where you can enjoy morning coffee, a bite of lunch or treat yourself to a tasty snack or a refreshing cocktail. There are also TV's on walls in this bar, showing the news or sporting events.

The 225 en suite rooms are in a very good condition, designed to a high spec with a bright and spacious feel. The decor is modern in style, with white crisp duvets complimenting soft lighting and soothing colour schemes - many rooms baost wonderful views on Dublin's Grand Canal. Located on the south side of Dublin city, the Mespil is located in Georgian Dublin along the Grand Canal only 15-20 minutes walk from St Stephens Green and Grafton Street, withTemple Bar a further 10 minute walk away. it is also very well situated should you be going to Aviva Stadium to watch the Rugby or Football - only a 10-15 minute walk.
