The Tethra Spa offers a fabulous 18 metre swimming pool, together with a fully equipped gymnasium, steam room and beauty treatment centre. The Merrion is Dublin's most exclusive address. The aim is to provide understated Georgian luxury and it achieves this in some style. (NN 07/2008)

The lobby area is elegant and exudes an air of warm sophistication. There are open log fires in the winter in the adjacent drawing rooms.
exterior
The hotel is comprised of 4 Georgian townhouses. There is no grand entrance, a nameplate and doorman in traditional livery and flags of the nations are the only clues that an exclusive hotel is on the site.
restaurant
The hotel offers a choice of two restaurants, Mornington's and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, one of Ireland's most prestigious restaurants. In addition there are 2 bars - the excellent Cellar bar and No.23.
rooms
The rooms are designed using Irish fabrics and antiques, reflecting the architecture and original interiors of the 18th century townhouses. Each room is beautifully designed with all the facilities to be expected of a hotel of such high standards. These are amongst the very best rooms in the whole of Dublin.
