The hotel's Bridge Bar is very popular, and the hotel has an excellent location for those looking for a good traditional hotel in the heart of Dublin's bar and restaurant district. (nn07/2008)
lobby
The lobby is small and welcoming, and is situated on the first floor. There is a small seating area with a selection of daily newspapers.
exterior
The hotel has a traditional facade and faces directly onto Temple Bar.
restaurant
The hotel restaurant is situated in the basement of the building and is very informal with the style of a bar. This hotel does not have its own breakfast room. If required, guests can get breakfast at the Temple Bar Hotel next door - vouchers for which are available from reception.
rooms
The rooms all have a fairly modern decor, with blues and yellows prominent. All were renovated in 1999, and are in reasonable condition. The rooms have large TVs and all the expected facilities. Double glazing has also been installed to help prevent noise coming up from the busy bars along the street; however the whole area can be rather noisy, especially on weekends.
location
The hotel is situated in the centre of Dublin, in the fashionable Temple Bar area. There are many bars and restaurants literally surrounding this hotel. A fantastic, lively location.
