locationTwyfelfontein Country Lodge, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is situated just 5 kilometres from the historic Twyfelfontein site, home to the largest number of rock engravings in southern Africa. The lodge is located approximately 100 km west of the small town of Khorixas and is accessible along the district road C39.
roomsThe lodge offers 56 spacious twin-bedded rooms with en-suite shower/ WC and private verandah. The impressive main building is hidden behind a natural rock entrance and made of rock.
restaurantThe lodge has the restaurant, lounge, bar and curio shop.
exteriorIn construction utmost care was taken to reduce the visual impact on the environment and to blend into the mountainside with the use of thatch roofs, natural stone and paint colors toning in with the surrounding rock formations.
