Sitting on a cliff edge in the middle of Bantry Bay, the Ambassador hotel has unrivalled views of the sea. Just a 10 minute drive to Cape Town centre and 5 minutes from the popular Camps Bay beach and the city's many stunning beaches The hotel is also as the foot of table mountain and a 10 minute drive to the cable car.
restaurant
The hotel restaurant is one of the best known in the city and has unparalleled views of the sea. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner guests can have a table by the floor to ceiling windows and watch the ocean waves crashing into the rocks at the foot of the hotel. The menu is excellent and offers local and international dishes as well a good selection of wines. For dinner the restaurant is often fully booked a week in advance so please book early.
exterior
Built into the rocks that fall into the ocean the hotel is a 6 storey building with the entrance level next to the road - actually the 4th floor. There is a car park for guests on the roof top. The building is modern and similar to many of the stylish buildings in the area and painted white.

A narrow stylish entrance with the reception desk to the right as you enter. There is a sofa for guests in front of a modern water feature on one wall of this minimalist lobby .
