The combination of the location of this hotel and it's excellent service and bedrooms have made it one the most popular hotels in Copenhagen. It is self styled as one of Copenhagen's 5 designer hotels through its display of iconic and original pieces of Danish designed furniture and art in each room. This unique approach invites the guest to interact with art and helps the hotel become a living gallery with Arne Jacobsen designed furniture sitting alongside modern amnesties with ease and inspirational beauty. lobby
The lobby area of the hotel is small, simply furnished with seating both in front of the reception desk and in a private room behind. The lobby has a very relaxed, welcoming and homely feel.
exterior
The hotel is housed in a traditional building which has been extensively modernised inside. It is a 6 storey impressive building, on a corner of a busy road by the Town Hall square in the centre of the city.
restaurant
The restaurant is on the ground floor adjoining the hotel's reception area. Although owned by the hotel it is actually a popular cafe and restaurant called Mulhausen which following breakfast is open from 16.00 for dinner to outside guests. The decor is stylish modern create a cosy environment in which to dine and socialise.
rooms
The Classic design rooms are larger in size to the standard rooms and are located in the corners or to the front of the hotel allowing for views over the town square. They benefit from grander architectural features and the most famous of furniture items by Finn Juhl, Ole Wanscher and Hans J. Wegner, including in one Arne Jacobsen's bed. As well as the period items the rest of the room is modern arbiet in a traditional style with bathrooms that are spacious and in a good condition.
location
The hotel is located in the centre of Copenhagen within easy reach of Tivoli gardens and the main shopping area of Stroget.
