locationThe hotel is located just around the corner from the central station. The area has been cleaned up exceptionally well and is now a trendy district in which to live, with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The location makes it convenient to most of Copenhagen's major attractions including Tivoli gardens, the shopping street; Stoget, cinemas, restaurants and the direct airport train link at central station.
roomsThis hotel has got different rooms categories. The standard and superior rooms have officially been rated 3 star, the rooms without facilities (see "Absalon 1 star/no facilities") have been officially rated 1 star. Rooms are traditional in design, with carpeted floors, light floral textiles and well-kept light wooden furniture. All rooms are medium in size and offer very clean accommodation with good en-suite facilities. There are tea and coffee facilities in all rooms.
restaurantLocated on the ground floor, it is a large open planned space adjacent to the lobby and near to the entrance, offering a bright and enjoyable environment to enjoy breakfast.
exteriorIt is a traditional white stone building with narrow rectangular and arched windows.
lobbyThe lobby is medium sized and decorated in light pastel colours and contains a life size replica statue of the Little Mermaid. There is also wireless internet access in the lobby.
generalOverall, this family owned and run hotel offers a good value for its cost, a modern interior in a traditional building, and an excellent friendly service, all within a central location.
