This is the only 3* hotel in Cannes in the exceptional location of Rue Antibes, Cannes main shopping area, and facing the View Port and the waterfront at the same time. It is also only a few steps from Cannes old town and all its restaurants, le Suquet.
rooms
The rooms vary in size from medium to large. They are tastefully furnished and decorated in a traditional style and in a light harmonious colour scheme. The bathrooms are fully tiled. Rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
restaurant
The breakfast room is located on the first floor. It is furnished and decorated in a blue and yellow colour scheme in a very homely style, giving the impression of someone private living room. It also opens up to a charming terrace facing the old port, where breakfast can be taken in the sarmer months.
exterior
As the name suggests this is truely a splendid, traditional building, with its white facade immaculately kept.
lobby
The lobby is small and cosy. There is a small salon to the left of the entrance. The reception desk opposite the entrance is of dark heavy wood.
general
This is a truely excpetional property in its category. Service and the clients' comfort are all important, and the hotel provides bathrobes in all rooms, fruit baskets on arrival, and at reception there are always bowls filled with traditional sweets on offer. ( 0508/ss)
