generalThe hotel has excellent leisure facilities with a Swimming Pool, Children's Pool, Fitness Classes, Gymnasium, Sauna, Steam Room, Sun Bed and Jacuzzi. This is an excellent Superior retreat close to the historic sites of Chester or bustle of Liverpool. (GW 03/2009)

exteriorThe hotel has a very grand feel with a classical entrance featuring a courtyard with fountain.
restaurantThe Borders restaurant (where breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken) serves an international a la carte menu in a formal yet contemporary setting, whilst lighter meals can be taken in the more relaxed atmosphere of the Lounge Bar. The Leisure club also has a Cafe Bar with Plasma TV's showing sport matches in evenings. The Courtyard also proveds a unique outdoor space in the heart of the Summer for al fresco dining.
