The hotel is situated within the city walls. It is close to the castle and the racecourse.
general
This is an excellent hotel for clients wishing to stay in a modern property. It has a very friendly atmosphere and every luxury a guest could require. The hotel has full leisure facilities which include a pool, sauna, jaccuzzi steam room and fully equipped gym and beauty rooms.
lobby
The lobby is large with marble floors and reception desk. There is also a bow fronted shop called which offers a selection of souvenirs.
exterior
This is a modern hotel which was built in 1988. It has been designed to fit in with the history and heritage of Chester.
restaurant
The restaurant offers both a traditional a la carte menu as well as a specially designed club style carvery menu. The restaurant has panoramic views of the racecourse and the Welsh hills beyond, as it is situated on the 1st floor.
rooms
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each has bath, shower, television, in-house movies, telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and hospitality tray. The rooms are in a good condition and are medium sized.
