locationThis hotel is set in the magnificent Carden Park in over 1000 acres of some of Cheshire's most beautiful Cheshire countryside. It is 14 miles south of Chester city centre and station - barely a 20 minute drive.
generalA unique combination of history and luxury await you at Carden Park. Over the last few years nearly 10 million has been invested in the hotel with extensive refurbishment of it's rooms and restaurants. The hotel has superb facilties - thus perfect for weekend leisure or Gold breaks - which include 2 Championship Golf Courses and Spa facilities including a 20m indoor pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and treatment rooms. exteriorA magnificent 17th Century mansion on a beautiful estate. In 1912, the main hall burnt down and the highly decorated timber framed building was reprised in the rebuilt Hotel which you see today. It is very much in the style of a country resort.
restaurantThere are numerous dining options at Carden Park: Redmond's serves Classic British cuisine using the best local Cheshire produce with a contemporary twist. The philosophy is simple and the Lancashire Hotpot pie and Loin of Gloucester old spot are not to be missed. The Brasserie offers everything from light snacks all the way up to a a full three course meal - it is more relaxed here. The new Clubhouse Restaurant serves food from 8 - 5 each day and offers golfers light snacks, tea or coffee or moreish hearty classic dishes. Morgan's Bar is most welcoming and offers a relaxed and informal space for drinks all day round with high backed chairs and sofas upholstered in modern fabrics.
roomsThe 171 stylish ensuite bedrooms are newly refurbished and have an emphasis on luxury and comfort. They are well proportioned with vibrant colours, textures and fittings. Some have fabulous views over the Welsh Hills. Guests are allocated a Standard King Room with all rooms having Bath and Power Shower, 32 inch Plasma TV and Sky channels, free broadband internet, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer.
