This hotel really is great value for money: Not only do you get somewhere steeped in history, but an excellent hotel - one of the finest in Chester - with facilities to match, including an indoor swimming pool, a first class sauna, a proper spa and a well equipped gym. (GW 05/2009)
lobby
The lobby area is quite small and cosy, with welcoming staff and a few seats leading into the open plan Lounges.
exterior
Robert Banastre was given the original house by Edward I in the 12th century. The present manor house was built in 1853 and is quite stunning, whilst there are also 2 modern wings added onto the original building.
restaurant
The Garden Room Restaurant is modern and comfortable offering you a relaxing setting for outstanding dining, whilst families are always welcome. The hotel has some of the area's best chefs and waiters, in addition to offering you outstanding views of the extensive hotel grounds. The 2nd dining option is The Lounge bar which has something for everyone. Sit and enjoy great bar food at lunch or dinner time or perhaps meet up with colleagues for an informal meeting in the relaxing atmosphere of this contemporary and open bar.

The 56 spacious rooms (there are a few 4 Posters in the original Building) are ideal for both business and pleasure boasting pleasantly decorated yet modern interiors. One can enjoy peaceful views over the grounds and surrounding countryside and the amenities are numerous, including: Remote control television with satellite channels, direct dial telephone, high Speed Internet Access, trouser press and hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing boards, bathrobes and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.
location
This hotel is situated in pretty landscaped gardens in the Cheshire countryside (not actually in the village of Mollington though) a little over 3 kms from Chester City Centre and the same distant in the opposite direction to the M56 with it's excellent links to North Wales and Liverpool.
