With a full renovation complete, the Hallmark Carlisle has been transformed into a stylish boutique hotel with ample character from the Victorian architecture and is THE place to stay in the town. The hotel has a covered car park at the rear of the property. Ideally located for travelling by rail as it is literally next to the station. It is a two minute walk to the main shopping areas and just round the corner from the popular Botchergate district, which is populated by many new bars and restaurants. (GW 03/2009)

The lobby is small but well appointed with seating for 10-15 guests: Coffee is served all day. The area is carpeted with a seating area and glass cabinets.
