All hotels' rooms have been fully refurbished in 2010. This hotel enjoys one of the best locations of any hotel in Basel especially for the tourist.
lobby
The lobby is large with plentiful seating. It has recently been renovated in a completely modern style and has "satellite" check-in desks, i.e. three separate desks. The modern bar is integrated into the lobby area.
exterior
It is a large modern building with a slightly featureless facade.
restaurant
The restaurant is modern.
rooms
The rooms are large with neutral decor. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition, though some could be considered a little old-fashioned.
location
The hotel is centrally located near the station and main shopping area. The old town is very close too an can be reached in a couple of minutes on foot. The trade fair centre is a short tram ride away.
