The lobby is small. Despite the traditional appearance of the hotel from the outside, the lobby and public areas are modern in style. There is limited seating in the corner of the lobby.
exterior
The hotel's facade is traditional and blends in nicely with the surrounding historical buildings.
restaurant
The main hotel restaurant is located off the lobby. It is a popular relaxed place specialising in simple but nourishing Swiss cuisine. It is decorated in a modern style.
rooms
The rooms are all small- to medium-sized. They are decorated in a classy, modern style with a mainly beige colour scheme offset by funky modern furniture. Some rooms overlook a small inner courtyard, whilst others have charming views over the rooftops of the surrounding historic buildings. The rooms are in exceptional condition whilst the slightly older bathrooms are nonetheless in good condition.
location
The hotel is located in the heart of Berne's charming old town on a semi-pedestrianised side street.
