location
The hotel takes pride of place overlooking the north bay of Blackpool, with impressive views along the vast shoreline of Lancashire. Follow the M55 to Blackpool, head for the Seafront/Promenade, head North on the Promenade (with the sea on your left), the hotel is approximately 3 miles on the right (just past Bispham).
rooms
The rooms although dated are clean and fully functional with all the usual amenities one would expect from a superior tourist hotel. Many of the rooms have spectacular views across the sea front. All are ensuite with direct dial phone, t.v, tea/coffee making facilities.
restaurant
The restaurant has stunning views overlooking the sea. It is quite basic in design but fully functional and in good condition. It offers an extensive choice of hot and cold dishes.
exterior
This is a large building with a castle-like appearance.
lobby
The lobby is large and bright and leading off this is the largest conservatory in England.
general
The hotel has extensive conference facilities and is in fact the UK's largest integrated hotel exhibition and conference venue. It also has an excellent leisure centre. The hotel hosts entertainers all season long as well as having a disco in the hotel. The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool located on the ground floor. (GW 05/08)
