generalThis is one of the original international standard hotels, in operation since
1965. Through on-going upgrades and touch-ups over the years, the property
looks good for its age. The swimming pool is medium but looks cramped due to
the limited surroundings. Spa services are now available as well on 2nd floor.
This is a popular budget hotel with an ideal location for those wanting to be
on the doorstep of major shopping and entertainment possibilities. (09/08SW)
lobbyThe medium-sized lobby is pleasantly decorated. Internet corner is also available.
exteriorA nine storey long rectangular shaped building with limited car parking at the front.
restaurantThe main restaurant is situated just off the lobby, offering a mix of Thai,
international cuisine a la carte. This is also where daily breakfast is served.
A Korean restaurant is also on the hotel's premises though independently managed by Koreans. The karaoke bar is another place for guests to relax.
roomsExecutive room is the same size with superior room but provide better room facilities and decoration. Modern amenities are fitted in each room such as satellite television, IDD telephone, a well stocked mini-bar, bathrobe, slippers, tea-coffee facilities. Rooms do not command any attractive views. Complimentary Wireless Internet in room. Bathroom is with shower in bathtub.
locationPerfect central location just off Sukhumvit Road with a multitude of shopping
opportunities within a few minutes' walk. The Asoke sky train station is a mere
5 minutes' walk and Sukhumvit subway station is 10 minutes walk from the hotel,
giving easy access to other major areas of the city.
