general
Public areas are clean and tidy with good signage. Medium size swimming pool is on the 6th floor of Siam wing with ample sun deck area. The hotel is a well established in an enviable location of central Sukhumvit shopping, restaurant and famous night life, a heart of Bangkok city. (02/08SW)
lobby
The lobby is in medium size with newly renovated in contemporary Thai style and is done in granite with plenty of seating areas. There is a lobby lounge which takes up a large portion of the lobby. It is a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of Soi 5. Business center is available at the lobby level.
exterior
Consisting of 2 wings off a central lobby. The established Siam wing is a 15 storey, white, concrete, high-rise in modern style. The later 25 storey Krungthep Wing is a dynamic triangular shaped glass and concrete construction and is a distinctive addition to Bangkok's skyline.
restaurant
Peppermill restaurant offers multinational cuisine on the lobby level of Siam wing. The open air Season Thai restaurant is adjacent to the swimming pool on the 6th floor offer traditional authentic Thai cuisine.
rooms
Krungthep Wing rooms are mixed of deluxe, deluxe terrace on the 6th floor, deluxe corner and suite. Rooms are slightly larger than Superior room; 32 square meter but no balcony and are very well furnished. All rooms are in beige colour tone with built-in light brown wooden furniture. There are also DVD player, radio, safety box and hair dyer. Bathrooms are as well in larger size. Separate bathtub and shower with full toiletries.
location
The hotel is located 50 metres from Sukhumvit Road on Soi 5 in the heart of Bangkok's Nana restaurants and entertainment quarter. The nearest skytrain station is Nana which is a 5 minutes walk.
